We FINALLY got our Rack Belles! Nordstrom Rack's grand opening is today in St. Louis. Hundreds of people lined up for a first peak at the discounted designer duds. I must admit, the Rack is always a pit stop when shopping in other cities. Now we have our very own! One lucky winner was selected to run through the entire store for a 90 second, $2,ooo shopping spree!

Von Maur Grand Opening
The Von Maur Grand Opening will take place from 10:00am – 9:00pm and include children’s activities, live entertainment and a drawing for 10 lucky winners to receive a $1,000 shopping spree at Von Maur. St. Louis shoppers will learn why Von Maur has received national recognition for its full line of unique men’s, women’s and children’s fashions, shoes, accessories and gifts as well as its renowned customer service experience. The Von Maur footprint includes a 126,000 square foot building on the north side of the shopping center. The 130-year-old family-owned store is known for its interest-free charge accounts, free gift-wrapping and delivery anywhere in the United States. Von Maur currently operates 24 stores in nine other states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska and Ohio.

The Meadows Birthday Bash Celebration
The fun continues with amazing events to commemorate The Meadows at Lake St. Louis 2nd birthday. The celebration will take place from 5:00pm – 10:00pm with a fireworks display to complete the festivities at 9:30pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Fabulous Motown Revue (from 6:30pm – 9:30pm) and the Cadence Drum Troop from America’s Got Talent, among others. The Meadows will be hosting a hot air balloon glow, train rides around the shopping center, pony rides, face painting, a fire and police department display, and a photo booth to name a few highlights. And it’s important to come to the event hungry, because you won’t be disapointed. The third annual Taste of The Meadows will feature a culinary experience from BC’s Kitchen, Max and Erma’s, Lake Forest County Club, Donatelli’s Bistro, and Louisiana Café.
